It's called having no appealing games at the moment. Once Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts III come out, you will see the true potential of the PS4 in Japan. |
You forgot the Last Guardian. Dat triforce of powa!

He was pointing out why PS4's first few months on the market aren't indicative of its entire lifetime sales, which is what this thread is about. You responded by pointing out that the Wii U will sell more during the month following its biggest release yet (and possibly ever), which is not only a stupid comparison, but an irrelevant one as well. Point is that the PS4 is flopping in Japan hard right now with no forseeable end to it for the time being. If it sucks in the short-term, chances are good it'll suck in the long term too. It's this thing called "Inertia". You may want to look at the original Playstation if you think that's how it works. The PS4 has yet to get compelling Japanese software, but it will eventually. Software sells hardware. Ironically I think it was Nintendo that said that. |

The desperation for some to cling to any victory against ps4 is sad. The ps4 will pick up as games like MGS, FF, Resident evil, Project beast and others start coming, please. Ps4 will end up the #1 console in japan.
Japan is always slower moving to a new gen.
You don't think there wont be more games announced for Japan or something? LOL.
