Here in the UK all of our houses are made with bricks and concrete... I actually wonder why houses in America are made out of wood, considering you have hurricanes and shit that wreck your houses... lol.


Even the floors? I mean we have houses built of all sorts of materials. But I cannot really remember a house with brick or concrete flooring unless you are on the first floor.

 

Also..we have a lot of forest compared to other places I guess. So wood is easily available.


Its most likely because of the more extreme US weather. The damage a tornado or earthquake would do to a UK house it would probably still Need to be demolished and would cost a lot more to rebuild. Also much more variable temperature so probably better for that. US houses feel cheap and frail though I must say.

As for Wii U distance. I live in a Georgian semi. Very thick walls so it doesn't even beam to the next room. However if I need Fifa in any room I got Vita.
