I am lazy, so tell me what it does and how much it costs.

it is just a rental service that allows you to rent older ps3 games and play them on the ps4 and the rentals cost 5-6 bucks or something like that.  At least that is all it is in the beta so far.  

If they make it so you could have one rental a month with playstion plus or something like that, possibly make a subscription model, then the service might have more merit to me.  I guess that is one of the reasons you have a beta though, see what people like and don't like.

Do you have to actually pay to rent the games in the beta?

from what I have read, it has been implied that you do have to pay in the beta, but I don't think it has been confirmed officially at all.  There isn't much information out there, maybe there is some kind of nda?  So there is a chance you don't have to...

There is an DNA but if you had to pay in the beta I'm sure we would have heard about it by now.

So far from the leaks, everything in the Beta is completely free.

I could have sworn I read somewhere that even in the beta you still have to pay for titles, but not 100% sure where. Maybe I am mixing it up with something else.
