Almost undoubtedly so. It's not like with the Wii U, where developers have to put in a lot of extra effort to port it over. Even if it loses momentum, it'll still get a heavy 3rd party release schedule as they don't lose anything by developing for Xbox One and PS4.

Sure it has a future... the system architecture is so similar to PS4 + PC that it should be a nobrainer for third parties to support all 3 platforms with multiplatform-titles.

And for exclusives Microsoft has deep pockets. They can also afford to offer the kinectless XBO for a lower price than the PS4, when they really want to compete.

The Xbone will sell 80MIL+ lifetime, so it has a future.

Whether it sells 0 copies from now on or 100 kajillion billion copies it has a future.

So yes, Xbox One has a future. Will it have a good one? Not as good as the PS4, but should be better than the original Xbox.
