If Kinect Sports couldn't help the One, I doubt this helps the Wii U. The reason the original took off was because it was free, and that's pretty much it.

Yup, people paid $250 to play a free game.

No, but the only reason it gained any popularity was becasue a ton of people got it for free with a cheap console.

Why did those people buy the console in the first place?

Cause motion-controls? I doubt people would line up to buy the game seperately if it was $35 and not included with the Wii.

His clumsy analyses of Nintendo can be moé at times, but I don't think this is one of those times.

Also bolds: Why the hell were you not using that thing as a wiring loom to prevent cables getting yanked out and keep on gaming, even after having the thing hit the floor or thrown out of a window? The colour purple is considered synonymous with arrogance or unabashed confidence in Japanese culture, and I think these two things go together.

Wii Sports was never bundled in Japan, so why would this make a difference now?

I could see a retail release in the West significantly boosting sales though. However I can't see any runaway success until they make a Wii Sports Club 2 with some new games. I'd recommend Volleyball.
