His clumsy analyses of Nintendo can be moé at times, but I don't think this is one of those times.
Also bolds: Why the hell were you not using that thing as a wiring loom to prevent cables getting yanked out and keep on gaming, even after having the thing hit the floor or thrown out of a window? The colour purple is considered synonymous with arrogance or unabashed confidence in Japanese culture, and I think these two things go together.
