Conclusion One huge caveat/punishment Ubisoft implemented is when you do turn off the Online Option, all your skills accumulated are reset to zero. You read that right. They all get reset to zero. All the online-specific skills reset to zero as punishment for not wanting to play online, something which is entirely disappointing. Either you keep getting invaded, or you get punished for wanting to play sometimes and not other times with the online mode. Ouch.
Not that I would care since I will never turn on the online function.

So since I don't like being invaded I should turn off online before I start playing, then I don't lose anything.
I don't understand the rationale behind downscoring a "great single player" game with "lots to do" in single player, for having a lackluster MP. Clearly as a SP focussed game a score should be weighted to the SP experience, just like MP focussed games should have score weighted towards the MP experience.
Reviewers seem to want to be harder on games these days, which is fine. So instead of only 80+ being worth a look 70+ is the new base for what is a good game, which is much better and at least where it should have been all along.
