There's an entire paragraph just describing the main character, and another about a mechanic which they themselves describe as "not having very much of a use". Where's the review part of this review?

The review lends undue weight to the multiplayer. That's not the reason people will buy it, nor what's being advertised about it. Are they saying they would have scored it higher if multiplayer wasn't included at all?

Conclusion

One huge caveat/punishment Ubisoft implemented is when you do turn off the Online Option, all your skills accumulated are reset to zero. You read that right. They all get reset to zero. All the online-specific skills reset to zero as punishment for not wanting to play online, something which is entirely disappointing. Either you keep getting invaded, or you get punished for wanting to play sometimes and not other times with the online mode.

Ouch.

Not that I would care since I will ever turn  the online function.

DRM.

maybe is already a win to MK8 (cause someone made a MK8 X WD thread)

I hope the game worth at least 8... :/

Yeah, that pretty much guarantees I'll play entirely offline.

I have a bad feeling about this...

Why do they remove points for the multiplayer that has little point for a game like this? Did they remove points for MK8 single player?

feel the need to point out MK8 lol? And MK8 is good on both so i dont see your point... MK8 is mainly a multiplayer game and you dont even play mk games (this is said cuz you dont own nintendo systems) so i dont understand this but hey thats on you :0

Probably not.  It's just a reason for them to slam the game and praise GTA5.  If the broken multiplayer in GTA5 was included from day one, many reviewers stated they still would have given it the same score.  A lot of them gave it the high score even after playing the broken multiplayer.

hmm i really hope gaf gets on its horse and starts something about that stupid MP choice.. im sure they can get something like that patched

If 7.2 is just for the single player, where are the points in the article to justify that?

People on GAF are wondering whether this guy played the game at all now. There's nothing written about the single player that wasn't in pre-release footage/demos.

Yeah the review isn't of the highet quality, but it's something for people to be concerned about.

I'm still getting the game regardless, for the single player only. That sounds and looks good, and I'll wait on more reviews worse than this to consider changing my opinion.
