I disagree with the Wii-U being trash, but mostly because 'trash' is irredeemable (Xbox One joke here, sorry even its not trash in reality).

The Wii-U is a fully redeemable system and once the Gamepad actually gets supported I think we'll be quite satisfied. Its on the track to pulling that off quite well, it may even manage to finish second to the PS4, but either way I expect this generation to be the contest between the Wii-U and the Xbox One, even if the Wii-U does manage to get back ahead of the PS4 for a brief interlude after MK8 launches.

...This is a sales site. Have you seen the sales?

Uh, yeah. Titanfall is still going strong in the charts and the Xbox One is still not beating the PS4 and 3DS, nor has it overtaken the Wii-U in total sales yet (not saying that means it can't, given that the Wii-U has a full year's head start), with the two of them having fairly comparable sales when neither has much going on if you recall.

Mario Kart is about to release which could well give the Wii-U a burst that gives it a few precious weeks back ahead of the PS4 (perhaps even getting back ahead in overall sales for a brief window). This could offset the negativity a good bit, and give the Wii-U the chance to really get back into the game. While I wouldn't expect that to last, and think "the PS4 has won the generation", I don't see anything stopping the Wii-U from rivalling and perhaps even beating the Xbox One.

Unless you're counting the 3DS and Vita; then its a two tier battle with the 3DS and PS4 at the top and I do not see that chaning.

The XBO averages 40K over the Wii U every week. That's more than two times the amount of systems sold every week. They don't have "fairly comparable sales." You're very optomistic though. I commend thee. But the XBO is gonna outsell the Wii U, especially with the $100 price cut announced.

The answer to your poll is poor marketing and advertising.

Thanks but I think I must have phrased my point badly. Sorry for dragging on this convo but I want to clarify.

BEFORE Titanfall, which is STILL high up in sales charts, the Wii-U and the Xbox One had VERY similiar sales. When Mario Kart LAUNCHES the Wii-U will ALSO have a game in the top of chart and will likely ALSO increase that far RESULTING in them having similiar sales AGAIN.

Oh! Lol okay, I understand.

I really hate to keep dragging this on but what is your take on that possibility in light of, you know, me actually making my argument coherent?

If i didn't have to go through 3-4 month long droughts then I would say yes. Currently it is at a no. But at least Nintendo is delivering fucking great games, they are way ahead of the pack in this regard

Wii U is fun, how is it a piece of trash?

Nobody wants to buy it.

So because its sales are low it is trash?

Lots of people love it. That is like saying anything that is not popular is trash.

No, I am not happy. There are too many game droughts and they are not helping the third party in any regard, when they could easily close the gaps, and the sad thing is that they could be doing much but spending little, if they put the third party games on their directs they could promote their titles and more people will buy those games.
