Look at it this way.
In march 05, or whatever, MS launched the 360.
Around 5 years later, it introduced kinect.
2 years later, it made them both accessible for 199$ in a bundle.
In november 2013, MS launched what is basically that 199$ console for 499$
Consumers, especially the casuals who are most interested in kinect, are wondering why they should choose xb1 over 360 when the kinect functions they want are easily fulfilled by the cheaper "model".
Essentially, when Yusuf Medhi says that gamers are happier with 360 than ps3, what he's actually saying is that consumers are happier to purchase the 360 over the xb1... whereas the opposite is true with playstation consumers. I can only imagine that 360 might even start outselling xb1 at some point.
I've been saying for so long that ms could've gotten a lot more out of 360 and could've held off on xb1 launch.
