You mean the halo ramake coming this year? or the other halo coming out next year? I can already see the large appeal this will have to such a broad audience.
I was trolling on the previous post, but this one is serious. MS first party is complete garbage. Halo has been done since bungy left it. Nobody buys systems for racing games like forza. Can you even call the next fable a fable? And gears creators already abandom the game. O yea, thats about it for the xbox original content isnt it. How sad since this time third partys wont sell well on the x1. And I know that there were other games like viva pinata and all thouse kinect sstuff, but none of thouse games sold consoles they only appeal to people who already had the xbox.

I mean both Halo games you mention. Whether or not the quality of the game is what it was with Bungie is a personal opinion, but the fact is the game's name moves consoles. Do I think it will be enough to catch the PS4 at any point, even in the US? Probably not. Doesn't mean it won't be enough for the system to remain relevant. Also, current IP is one thing while new IP is another entirely. Looking back on the last generation the majority of games that give the PS3 its "great exclusives" claim didn't exist prior to (Uncharted, Infamous, Last of Us, Demon's Souls, Little Big Planet, etc) gen 7. XBox could experience the same turnaround if they devote some time and resource to making it happen. It's gonna be a long gen, should be fun to see what unfolds.

Are you saying that only thouse games where system sellers for the ps3? So you dont remember god of war, rachet nd clank, devil my cry, final fantasy, and many more that came fromthe ps2.
But anyways that might be true that MS can come up with new ips to change things along but keep in mind that sonys and nintendos first party studios have been there for decades. They keep expanading the IPs they already have while making new ips and getting newer studios to make new ips. MS has had the same studios since the original xbox with the same big 4 IPs that you cannot separate from the xbox. I know gears came on the 360 first but that was the only new big hit from MS studios. Now they cannot count on third party exclusivitys since ps4 is killing the x1 in sales. So what im trying to say is that its true that ms can come up with a lot of new ips and new sstudios wich is great, but sony and nintendo already have a great pool of talent making old ips and new one while alwas trying to create new studios or adquire them, so its going to be toughf for MS to shine in the shadow of the other 2 well stablished and massive amounts of talent.
