You mean the halo ramake coming this year? or the other halo coming out next year? I can already see the large appeal this will have to such a broad audience.

I was trolling on the previous post, but this one is serious. MS first party is complete garbage. Halo has been done since bungy left it. Nobody buys systems for racing games like forza. Can you even call the next fable a fable? And gears creators already abandom the game. O yea, thats about it for the xbox original content isnt it. How sad since this time third partys wont sell well on the x1. And I know that there were other games like viva pinata and all thouse kinect sstuff, but none of thouse games sold consoles they only appeal to people who already had the xbox.

I mean both Halo games you mention.  Whether or not the quality of the game is what it was with Bungie is a personal opinion, but the fact is the game's name moves consoles.  Do I think it will be enough to catch the PS4 at any point, even in the US?  Probably not.  Doesn't mean it won't be enough for the system to remain relevant.  Also, current IP is one thing while new IP is another entirely.  Looking back on the last generation the majority of games that give the PS3 its "great exclusives" claim didn't exist prior to (Uncharted, Infamous, Last of Us, Demon's Souls, Little Big Planet, etc) gen 7.  XBox could experience the same turnaround if they devote some time and resource to making it happen.  It's gonna be a long gen, should be fun to see what unfolds.

The real denial is not looking at the facts! This site shows xbox one outselling ps4 in america for the past couple of weeks, and if you look at the past consoles its a landslide for the 360 with 43mil compared to 26 mil of ps3. Early adopters of the new systems may have been in favor of ps4 but it will slowly change as launch hype dies down. Ps4 is losing in japan to wii u for weeks now to but Im sure many are in denial of that too. Europe is going to be ps4 territory but I think Japan will go to Wii u and I have no doubt that xbox will control America!!! 

It's going to be a fight this gen. Remember when stuff like Halo and Uncharted release it's going to give each side a massive boost.

In a few weeks The Last of Us Remastered bundle is going to release, and a month after that the White PS4 Destiny bundle will too. Halo MCC will have to push a lot of units to match that.

Well just last week the PS4 outsold the the Xbox One. It wasn't many weeks. To be honest, the numbers are so close in the U.S. that it could go to either one of them. Xbox One is going to be in the fight of it's life to "control" America because so far the PS4 has been outselling it and/or damn near matching it. It's not going to be easy for them (Xbox) this generation like it was last gen.

no it hasnt,  it has more for the 5th of july,  but the week before that sony took it, before that it was MS,  and before that it was sony for like 2 1/1 months atleast. those 2 weeks combine to 7k more than the ps4..  which is 1/3rd the gap sony had for the week ending June 7.  So sony still wins june by vgc, a month that was supposed be be a good one as its the first month with the new sku.   But we should also rememer vgc has had the xb1 consistently higher all year, so it might be a good idea to wait until june npd(thursday)

edit: Should also add, ps4 won the week the new sku came out, and somehow the week after that the xb1 increase its sales. which is odd as the release week should have the preorders so youd think that week would have more.

It's a denial thing to not look at NPD's numbers or what ? You know it's the most accurate thing for USA. And by far PS4 winning in USA.

Sounds like you just love sony and probably thought the ps3 at launch was going to dominate as well!! Wishfull thinking on your part, even the wii dominated america but in the end 360 sold more so dont think sony has this in the bag.
