As the video linked to below shows, we no longer have access to all 32 tracks when picking a course to race on in online matches. Your options to choose from before any given race are now just three randomly selected tracks and random, which could be any of the game's tracks not just the given three as the video proves. Atleast from what I know, it's not exactly clear if this is how it'll be for all online modes. For Worldwides and Regionals it definitely will be, but it'd make sense to have an option deciding whether or not people can choose their own tracks in Friends and Tournament mode. So, what do yal think of this? Me personally, I like this change a lot! There's a lot of people who tend to spam the same track over and over again even after just playing on that same track. Even if it's a track I like a lot, it still get's a bit tiresome as there's always other tracks I wanna play on. Gotta have my variety afterall! Of course, while this does prevent spamming, the down side is it takes away our freedom to choose whichever track we feel like. That shouldn't be a problem for me though, as the only reason I chose tracks instead of doing random in MK7 was because N64 Kalamari Desert existed, and I swear, random is Kalamari Desert like half the time! Every track in MK8 is pretty solid though, meaning that regardless of this I was probably gonna end up picking random most of the time anyway, so it all works out great for me! I just hope for the pick any track option for Friends and Tournament Mode, then this would be perfect!

This is good, more variety in track selection. Trolls won't be able to spam rainbow road :P

Well as long as Im never thrown into mirror mode races Im fine I guess, still I liked spamming the one track until it was picked. Thats how you get to race on tracks you like.

I think it's a good thing. I hate playing the same maps over and over on other games. *Cough* Nuketown on CoD.

They also can't spam any tracks with gamebreaking glitches (ex: Maka Wuhu), though hopefully Mario Kart 8 wont have any to begin with!

I am ok with that, people normally spaming the same track over and over is way too boring...
