How many hours did you need for that? I planned on doing this sometime, but i dont have that many yet!

Competitive all the way.

I'm more of a casual hardcore Pokemon gamer. I never play online, but I enjoy the single player the mist. Mostly I enjoy collecting all the Pokes, and discovering the secrets of the world.

When I through the game the first time, it is completely for fun.

After that, I play competitive.

The few times I've tried to play competitive I've completely failed, because my favourites are in lower tiers, so I just play for fun.

a long time....and that was after I traded a couple hundred pokemon from my old pearl game.  I had to play through black to get all of those legendaries, then beat pearl again so I could get those legendaries to trade for other legendaries.  I only had 1 event legendary so it took my awhile to find people that were willing to trade for the ones I didn't have....I know it was about 2 months before I finished but i have no idea exactly how many hours I put into it.

I like capturing all the pokemon (at least always all the new pokemon, I can't be arsed to fill a 649 or 718 entry pokedex anymore) finding the world's secrets, and battling in the ingame post-game. But I've only ever had 2 online battles. Lost both. I've kind of wanted to tailor my pokes for at least battle with friends, but two of my friends can actually be pretty serious about the metagame...
The way I play I catch every single new wild pokemon breed I encounter and see where that gets me by the end..

Only Pokemon games I ever played are Sapphire and Leafgreen, and once I get Rayquaza, MewTwo and level everyone to 100, I'll start the game over and pick a different starter. No matter how many games I make, I still have fun.

I play it mostly for fun, exploring and talking to NPC's is always fun. Sometimes though, I breed a pokémon and effort train it to play with my friends, who are really serious about it.

Last time I played just for fun because it was on my tablet and I could not play online multiplayer. Sadly.
Though I found it boring and the same as the previous ones so I never finished it. It was purely for fun though. I should try it again!!!!!!
