I think that too, Microsoft is winning me over, so far It has games I want to play like DR3, TitanFall (even tough I hate shooters) and Sunset Overdrive looks so cool.

Buuuuuuuuut the XOne is so figging expensive here, so probably will not buy anything and stick with my old gen of consoles.

Also, does FFVersus and KH3 got announced as multiplatform or they are only for Ps4?

They are multiplats.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Alot of people are really saying that the PS4 has all these exclusives coming up, I would love if they would try to name some. I would like to be proved wrong, but other than The Order and driveclub, I've seen nothing. And those two games look "meh".

Why should we do work for you? Ps4 has more games and more on the way which is why its winning in sales

Hes talking about quality and not quantity. Not indies (for they are bonuses, not system sellers in themselves) and not niche exclsuives. In that regard, PS4 has Killzone, Infamous out now. Later this year is Drive Club and The Order. That's just 4 standout games in total.

Think PS4 sales have a LOT more to do with price, geographical brand loyalty, specs, and positive PR in general. Not necessarily its games......very hard to argue that 7 million people just HAD to play Killzone and Infamous.

And with X1 having better games, having brand loyalty in America and during the TF release were cheaper than if someone would buy PS4+game, that was the reason for NPD March showing PS4 clearly ahead?

Having deals in one country, which were selectively retail specific, does not translate to winning globally. PS4 was still largely cheaper then X1 for the month. Again, there are other factors outside merely price. And again I doubt it was for Killzone and Infamous. Otherwise they would have higher attach rates.

I' m asking solely about America. because March PS4 were ahead of X1 in USA. So all your factors were favorable to X1 and disfavorable to PS4, so why did Sony win??? (I do know that you expected X1 to smoke PS4 ass on March NPD).

I put games I think will be 2014, which is why I missed Gears of War 4 and Halo 5. I know UC4 is rumoured for 2014 but will all the changes recently? I'll be amazed if it makes 2014. I'll gladly add more notable games if I've missed any??

Helldivers and Rime, because indies also matter specially when they look more interesting than half of the opponent's list

You also included multiplats (TF, GW) on XB1 and kept out multi plats (transistor, outlast, others) on PS4

Indies matter once you allready bought the console. They are interesting, but not system sellers. Context.

TF has more relevance then transistor or outlast.....by a lot actually. Cute how you try to put them on even footing, as if they all have had an equal impact or something.

No, what's embarrasing is you using a multiplat game as if it were an exclusive. 1.6 million bought TF? Ok, how many of those were free copies given away? How many of those were bought by people who already had a XB1? How many of those are casuals who need aim assist on their FPSes instead of playing on PC where skill actually matters?

No quote? Good thing I found you ;)

I didn't say it was an exclusive. But it is funny how a multiplat had more impact then a real exclusive. Its all about impact and context. Not this very closed minded, black and white viewpoint how anything that isn't exclusive means nothing. Cute.

Those free copies are a big reason why it impacted X1 as a system seller....you realize that right?

how did it have more impact if the gap grew? The sales numbers of the game only prove people who have the console bought it, not that there were more people buying it for TF than people buying PS4 for Infamous.

To the above guy, indies + big games is better than just big games. That goes without saying and there is no arguing this fact. And you know, some of these indies are actual exclusives.. unlike last gen where i got all the 360 indies on my PC :)

Maybe he wants to take out the bundle numbers of Wii Sport, several uncharted and GT...

Just because you got a great deal and essentialy had the game for free and a temporary price cut doesn't mean NO ONE would have bought it otherwise... There is no doubt TF pushed consoles, we just can't measure how much.

I did expect X1 to win, but realistically not by much. It is no secret PS4 is still cheaper, even during March, and has great buzz/word of mouth going for it. It does have better specs. People are just buying mroe for the promise of great games to come then whats actually available. That is actually pretty great of Sony to be in such a fortunate position.

You put a lot of non released games for MS but curiously forgot about Sony... not even UC4 in your post?

They don't tho, they don't sell consoles and they don't get attention, this seems to be something people are clinging onto this gen. The big titles are what get people excited and buying consoles and the reason the industry is as big as it is, not indies.

Rime can not compare to Sunset Overdrive even if you think Rime is more fun.

So now your changing your argument, your first post never said anything about only BIG titles, you even mentioned indies Plants versus zopmbies. Your list is a biased joke. Sony also has not announced most of their big proojects, sony has more games right now then x1.

You mention halo anniveersary, ignore TLOU.

You mention Plants versus zombiwes, leave out a bunch of great PS4 indies like resogun, Outlast, Dead Nation, Don;t starve.

Where is MLB the show?

Where is deep down?

Where is planet side 2?

FF14?

Your list is horribly boased. Some on your list is not going to make 2014 for xbox either, where is UC4?

I do agree with you. But he thinks it shouldn't factor into discussion at all, that it has no place differentiating X1 from PS4.I respect your posting style and hope I don't come across as hostile to you, but this is between me and him :)

PS4 7.5 million, xx1 4.4.....Ps4's library is selling consoles, and the notion people only buy consoles for exclusives is moronic.....
