I put games I think will be 2014, which is why I missed Gears of War 4 and Halo 5. I know UC4 is rumoured for 2014 but will all the changes recently? I'll be amazed if it makes 2014. I'll gladly add more notable games if I've missed any??

I think that too, Microsoft is winning me over, so far It has games I want to play like DR3, TitanFall (even tough I hate shooters) and Sunset Overdrive looks so cool.

Buuuuuuuuut the XOne is so figging expensive here, so probably will not buy anything and stick with my old gen of consoles.

Also, does FFVersus and KH3 got announced as multiplatform or they are only for Ps4?

Pretty sure most are multiplat, and expect a price cut imminently.

Helldivers and Rime, because indies also matter specially when they look more interesting than half of the opponent's list


You also included multiplats (TF, GW) on XB1 and kept out multi plats (transistor, outlast, others) on PS4

That doesn't change anything regarding the game selling 1.6 million on Xbox One.

Hes talking about quality and not quantity. Not indies (for they are bonuses, not system sellers in themselves) and not niche exclsuives. In that regard, PS4 has Killzone, Infamous out now. Later this year is Drive Club and The Order. That's just 4 standout games in total.

Think PS4 sales have a LOT more to do with price, geographical brand loyalty, specs, and positive PR in general. Not necessarily its games......very hard to argue that 7 million people just HAD to play Killzone and Infamous.


And with X1 having better games, having brand loyalty in America and during the TF release were cheaper than if someone would buy PS4+game, that was the reason for NPD March showing PS4 clearly ahead?

Having deals in one country, which were selectively retail specific, does not translate to winning globally. PS4 was still largely cheaper then X1 for the month. Again, there are other factors outside merely price. And again I doubt it was for Killzone and Infamous. Otherwise they would have higher attach rates.



Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

At least put The Show and TLOU Remastered on the PS4s side ;)

And who knows, maybe Deep Down will release this year as well and that one seems to have some serious production values as well, even if it's free to play.

E3 announcements are another variable of course.

Understood. You just didn't mention, but is valid. The Greatest Game of Two Generations will release in the summer (TLOU) =]

I don't list all the games, but I know there are some missing... and I was just picking on you, I now you preffered X360 but aren't a blind follower. And right now X1 have more games released exclusively in retail than PS4, altough most don't attract me.

I didn't say it was an exclusive. But it is funny how a multiplat had more impact then a real exclusive. Its all about impact and context. Not this very closed minded, black and white viewpoint how anything that isn't exclusive means nothing. Cute.

Those free copies are a big reason why it impacted X1 as a system seller....you realize that right?

They don't tho, they don't sell consoles and they don't get attention, this seems to be something people are clinging onto this gen. The big titles are what get people excited and buying consoles and the reason the industry is as big as it is, not indies.

Rime can not compare to Sunset Overdrive even if you think Rime is more fun.
