PS4 sold 4.6 million in 4 countries (USA, UK, France, Germany)

XB1 sold ~4.4.-4.5 million in 13 countries (the 4 above + all the others it's been released in)

Now you can drawn your own conclusion

Well... if we make that comparison Xone is 3,7mi on those countries, so, 2mi disparitie came from Japan and other countries.

And the price? Won´t you and other ever stop to think that it´s $100 more expensive???

I am glad MS is starting to win some people over [like yourself] but in all fairness..sony does not have just the last of us remake..lol That's not true..just  Give it time.. they will show their games at E3

Praise the One.

I also think the Xbox One looks interesting but it hasn't even been released where I live. At least it will have a better launch lineup when it eventually comes.

Yep.

If you only game you can list for the PS4 is the TLOU port then you can't have looked much into it ^^;

Yeah, don't forget, uh...

...Knack?

:p

In all seriousness, neither console has that much worthy stuff released right now. The Wii U's just now getting some titles that would justify a purchase, so its completely unreasonable to think that consoles half a year into their lifetime would. Personally, I'd wait for at least another year, and then judge by exclusives that are on/announced for the platforms.

Yeah, X1 is getting more interesting. I also find the system UI to be way nicer.

Though I don't think I can justify putting down $500 when I already bought a PS4

Platinums: Red Dead Redemption, Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, Terminator Salvation, Uncharted 1, inFamous Second Son, Rocket League

A Microsoft console has never interested me as much as the XO has, to be honest. Last gen, Halo was basically the ONLY reason I wanted one. Microsoft is investing in true exclusives this gen, however, and it has my attention. I'd love to own one--perhaps when it's closer to $300.

Sunset Overdrive does very little for me, though. It's extremely pretty but it still looks like a zombie horde 3rd person shooter and that's not my style of game.

not sure if the op is being sarcastic or not. anyway, xbo is like a kia "luxury" vehicle, has many bells and whistles but when it comes to performance, it is substandard. ps4 however, has less bells and whistles but similar to a porsche 911 in performance - btw, the porsche 911 is being offered for cheaper than the kia.

you want a kia or a porsche? I pity kia owners =/

Didn't you all expect this? Microsoft doing the DRM thing hurt them with consumers, but it was gold for them with third parties. I don't know if Sony can even recover at this point because I guarantee you that they were supposed to go the DRM route too. I think Sony stabbed third parties in the back this gen. Sony can't afford to buy any exclusives either, so Microsoft can buy them wholesale this gen.

E3 this year is going to be an ENORMOUS peak into whether Sony will keep their lead this gen. Either third parties have no choice but to go back and develop for Sony, or they continue throwing tonnes of exclusives at Microsoft forcing people to buy Xbox Ones. This is the E3 we find that out in. Worst case scenario Sony is cut out of even the basic third party games like Assassin's Creed, EA Sports games, etc.

Please tell us how you guarantee that. Please, go ahead. I'm curious what inside information you have, because there is no other way you can make such a statement.

Stabbed themselves in the back? In what way? Has EA announced games that are not coming to ps4? Has Activision? Any company that has not been moneyhatted by (or received funding from) MS? There is currently absolutely no  public proof to back up your theory and all it comes off is wishful thinking.

But, please prove me wrong with concrete evidence.

I'm a pretty huge Nintendo fan. Their output is the majority of my gaming time. I also really enjoy a sony machine on the side. I absolutely loved the PS3 (Best 7th gen console for me) and I jumped at a chance to buy a PS4 when it dropped. Microsoft has never really interested me. Halo was always kinda fun at parties, but other than that, they never did it for me. I have no interest in gears, did not want to pay for online, and don't play call of duty.

This gen though, their output has been better than Sony's. There are many more games that I would really like to play on their console. Dead Rising 3, Forza, Titanfall, PVZ Garden Warfare, Peggle 2. They all really intrest me. These gameswouldn't have forced me to buy an Xbox One, but they did make me a tad jealous.

Today I saw the trailer for Sunset Overdrive, and I tell you, this might be the game to push me over the edge. It's everything I want in a game. An original, off the wall story, awesome asthetic, fun looking gameplay. It looks like an orgasm on a blu ray disc.

On Sony's side we have...Last of Us remake? :/

In short, Kudos to Microsoft. They really went crazy at the start of the generation with the DRM thing, but dammit, I really want to play the games that they are making. It is a gaint nutpunch to the effort that Sony has put out so far. And the PS4's future is still pretty bare from what I've seen.

Don't let the irony of 1st place fans being insecure about their position to bully you. You aren't the only one who thinks that PS4 is selling on price, specs, and geographical loyalty but not necessarily its games.

Glad you see past the year old propaganda against MS and see the efforts they are making.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Sony only has a Last of Us remake? Kinda ironic that MS's biggest exclusive this holiday is a remake of a 10 year old Halo game.

Also, MS is winning people over? 7.5M vs 4.5M and growing each week. Doesn't seem that way.

Funny thread though..
