Nintendo has used the demos before at Best Buy. They still havent saved the Wii U. This isnt the first year. its like you dont read. I also doubt you watched the video.

The Wii U reveal was at an ON STAGE E3 event. What's your point? The on stage event didn't save the Wii U. Yet Mario Kart 8 is the best seller on Amazon.com right now. There has only been directs on Mario Kart 8. The problems are many and not just "because they don't make a stage presence at E3". Come on.
No one discounted their on stage event. They had third parties, second party and first party present and demonstrating and sinking or swimming in front of the crowd as it should. Its live even that the gaming world is watching and they should be put to the task infront of us, not telling us whats what.
Lol, okay, but Mario Kart 8 and Mario 3D World had sold more systems with directs than the Wii U with a Legend Of Zelda stage demo that people LOVED did. There was hype for both, but at the end of the day a game is going to create more hype than a live event ever will.
Nintendo Direct had only been around for two years and no Mario Kart has ever sold more than Mario Kart Wii. Super Mario 3D World will not outsell Mario Sunshine. I think you have things twisted. Nintendo gets less hits online than Sony and MS when it comes to Youtube so y our argument isnt exactly coming up to much. They need E3. They lost the third parties and it took out a chunk of their content at E3. Third parties account for at a quarter of the big three's shows.
How does Mario not selling directly correlate to not having an E3, or hits on youtube. There's a lot of assuming going on.
I was debunking your theory that Nintendo Directs sell systems. No they don't they actually isolate the fanbase rather than expand the viewer base.
Not very well. You're basing games based off of Directs instead of install base. 3D World is going to sell worse because not as many people have a Wii U, and as I stated there was an E3 press conference for the Wii U. We can look directly at Wii U sales first year and Gamecube sales 1st year, that would directly reflect the userbase in which one would buy games.
Like math, you can't divide by unlike terms.
