Both great years, but for now 2013 is better.
Maybe they still have 1 or 2 big games for 2014 which will be shown at E3, but i doubt it. Love both years line ups though!

Let's see. The big games for me (that I bought, basically) in 2013 were Fire Emblem, Monster Hunter 3U, Pokemon XY, Ace Attorney 5, and A Link Between Worlds. There were also a couple of games I was interested in that I didn't get around to buying.

So far this year, I've bought Bravely Default and I'm definitely getting Smash Bros. Persona Q is a possibility as well since I've been interested in Etrian Odyssey for a while but haven't tried it yet. I doubt The Great Ace Attorney will make it West this year. I don't think I'll be getting the Pokemon remakes. So I just need 2 or 3 more must-have games for this year to be on-par with last year.

If those games don't come and I feel like I need a new 3DS game, I'll dip into the enormous DS library if games which I have yet to truly explore, or I'll pick up Luigi's Mansion or DKCR3D or something. No harm done. My 3DS isn't going to start collecting dust any time in the next three years regardless of its future releases aside from what we already know.
