Dude... You counted thousands of games and put in multiple categories? I'm not sure what to say lol

It was actually pretty similar to my first real job (working as a page in the local library).

Anyhow, the worst part of doing this sort of thing is you KNOW you miscounted somewhere. But you can never double check your numbers, because shortly after I finished yesterday, somebody came in with a few used Xbox games and bought MLB 14. So I just have to live with the thought that I did my best.

those retro prices are insane, i'll stick to paying $1 or less per cart over here in Japan.

Nice work!

I love used games stores, especially those that, unlike GameStop, sell/buy games that are more than one generation old. It's great searching for hidden gems and just taking in all the history. I could get lost in a store such as the one in the OP for hours.

Same here. And I've recently discovered two have opened in my city!

Those pictures are amazing. I wish we had more of those kind of shops here:/

Bit bored huh? Although I wish I made more stores near me that carried so many PS1 games. Make my eBay buying obsession easier.

No, I'm just a weird person.

I'm really glad to have a store that carries a 2000+ games from before 2005. I don't own a lot of retro hardware, but sometimes, I'll buy a soda and "rent" a game for a couple of dollars and play it in the back for hours.

Then, if I like the game, I often buy it for a fraction of the price on the Virtual Console or something. But still, they're great guys over at "We're Not GameStop."

Ask the store owner if or how profitable his business is in this day and age where digital downloads and online retailers have become the norm and are even becoming the dominant sales avenue.

Wait  a second. This has nothing do with "weird person". I admire your curiosity and don't you dare say ever again that you are weird. Promise me.

I'm lucky enough to live in an area where gaming stuff is not too hard to come by. We have stores with newer stuff too, including PC part stores and the like. Honestly, the only gaming related thing I feel we could use is an arcade of some sorts. Even if it were part of a larger establishment, we're seriously lacking quarter-eating machines.

Which is not to say my neighborhood is perfect. I ended my college semester on Monday with a lecture on how f*cked up we were. But stuff like this makes the high taxes, water pollution, political scumbaggery, lack of easy transportation, and prevalent drug abuse worth it.

I come from a family that wears the word "weird" as a badge of honor, so that can be a bit difficult. I'm starting to appreciate who I am and do my best not to dislike what are some of my positive attributes.

So even though I can't promise you I won't use the word "weird" to describe myself, I can promise not to do so in a negative sense.

29,99$ for pokemon silver? are they insane? they go for 10€ max at ebay and changing the batterie is so fuckn easy...
