What do you mean by "games like this"?

Probably vast, vast, open world games where each NPC has it's own behavioral pattern.  Multitudes of people roaming about building and scrounging stuff etc..  A game like that CAN be restricted to high end hardware, but that kind of limits the demographic you can target.  Far better to have a scaling engine, which usually means they have to cut 'some' bells and whistles out because they simply will tax the resources of lower end machines too much for scaling to have any real effect.

Think we should combine this thread with the Vita one?

I never really understood why the two were separate in the first place, so yeah i think combining them would be nice. Together we can create one great big playstation orgy.
