Quite a few retailers, especially in the Europe/Oceania area have The Last of Us: Retailer pegged for release on June 13th, but today New Zealander historucal retailer Mighty Ape sent a mail to its customers that pre-ordered the game, warning them that the release date has been changed to August 7th.
Just letting you know that our suppliers have advised us today that the estimated New Zealand release date for The Last of Us Remastered ~ PS4 has changed from 13/06/2014 to 07/08/2014 today. [in New Zealand the date format is day/month/year]
This date is actually quite interesting. Back when The Last of Us: Remastered was announced, NeoGAF user ShdwDrake correctly predicted the reveal in advance, proving to the moderators to have insider information on it. He also mentioned that the release date would have been August 8th.
That date was pretty much overlooked because most retailers pegged the game to June 13th or June 20th, but it matches almost perfectly with the new date set by Mighty Ape.
It wouldn’t be the first time that this kind of details trickle down to New Zealand or Australia first, considering that they are nine hours ahead of the UK and fifteen in the future compared to the US.
Of course, since no official announcement has been made yet by Sony, this should be considered a rumor. We’ll have to stand by and see if it’ll be confirmed in the future.
That makes me, if confirmed, more likely to pick up Watch Dogs. I was putting it off until TLOU's date was out. I don't really care if it's a port and that i already have the PS3 version, i'm more interested in that than most "new" releases for any platforms.
But that would be a good date for budget balancing. Nothing in June and July after a reasonable May, good for the wallet.

Yeah, I'll open mine up a little after Cone. I have a viewing and funeral Monday and Tuesday, so I'll be busy with that.
Mine is going to be a pre E3 which encompasses hype and predictions before, during will consist of just a constant flow from other people posting, and then I'll update it after with news.

KZ SF mp is quite good. still getting my ass kicked, although im now ranking top 3-5 sometimes in the official TDM 24 players. Some top players are ruthless with their cheap strategies though.
