A joke might be being generous. The Old Hunter's final boss was probably made out of spite from Miyazaki when some people said Bloodborne was too easy.

Is it harder than the Darklurker?

Darklurker was easy, so I don't know what to tell you.

There is no way you guys found it easy, seriously.
The fucking duo killed me like 30 times. Every other boss pales in comparision to it.

Two tries was all that it took me.

Two tries plus a tutorial?

Uhhhh, got killed the first time I found Darklurker, made it my bitch the second time I face it.

I would love to put a controller in your hand and you show me it, even if you already has the experience now.

I just can't believe it XP

The fucker would one shot me, and unless you already knew the equips you had to bring (rare ones, even) to make his attacks non-lethal there is no way you didn't die a lot to it until getting the hang of it, specially if you were a melee character like I was, and when the fucker divides in two...

My character (the first one, at least) is always full melee, so my experience can't be that far different from yours.

Looking back to it, I'm not sure what my equip was, but I was probably wearing some sort of not-so-heavy armor (to prevent slow rolls) and the Manslayer katana.

So my sister lent me Until Dawn today. Will be nice to break from No Man's Sky for a moment (which I'm loving by the way; finally got through my first black hole!). Any tips or advice, spoiler-free ofcourse, before going into Until Dawn or is it one of those things best experienced without anyone else saying anything about it?

As an aside, progress through the UC Collection is going quite well and will be at the end soon. Hoping to snap up UC4 on the cheap again to play through that when this is done. Now that FFXV has been delayed (BOOO!) it sorta opens up a little bit of breathing space for it which is quite nice!

Go in blind, holy hell Until Dawn is good, your in for a treat. Also play it a few times to get the full experience. Grab a pillow, turn the lights out and put on some a headset :p

Ha sounds like a good idea. Makes me pretty glad that I avoided everything about it! After that there's also the Beyond/Heavy Rain collection and maybe The Wolf Among Us (think she's finished that one) so it will be pretty full on with these games. But that's not a bad thing. Also she did spoil Heavy Rain ¬_¬

Also the BB/DS conversation above reminds me that I need to get the DLC for Bloodborne...one day.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

I coudnt do that game in NG+, had to start new game and beat it in just standard NG... i cant even imagin what ++++ is like :|

It's a bitch, that's what it is. I've been trying to beat Ludwig for damn near 9 months and the closest i got was about 75% of his health. And when I beat Ludwig, and seeing how he's the first boss, I'll be fearing for my life and my sanity when I approach the second boss, cus I bet that'll take me a lifetime to beat as well

i'll probably never beat the dlc and get that full bloodborne experience

Ludwig is the hardest boss, the optional boss was hard (at least for the level i was at). but Ludwig is easily the hardest in the DLC. the last two bosses are amazing though, you gotta finish it.

you can download the patch, and get friendly AI to help you out, there are two you can call to help with ludwig.

Its funny coz all the bosses are a joke compared to the last one XD

umm no, he wasnt that hard. he was great to fight and combat, but he wasnt super hard. you just need to learn when to dodge and what direction, and understand his move set.

I guess it's a matter of perception. I didn't find Ludwig to be that hard of a boss, aside from the initial surprise difficult spike. Once you figure out his first-form pattern, he's easy to defeat (considering his second form isn't harder than the first). But for some reason Kos owned me over and over again.

Hard? What even are you...

Hmmm I didn't find the Darklurker too hard. He's pretty easy to prepare for and against.

Old Hunters final boss I didn't find that difficult either. Unless you guys are talking about the "hidden" boss in which case, yes, it took me at least 20 tries. No joke.

That title is a thing of beauty.

wish there was an easier way too expand my ps4 storage..making it hard for me to go all digital like i planned
