There are 5 shadows, from left to right they are: Drake, Sackboy, Aloy, Clank and Ratchet.

Ofcourse, my bad. The two empty seats are for Kratos and Crash. This is what I meant. Thanks for correcting.

That look like Ares but could also be Aloy xD

Now that I see it Aloy and Ares have many similar physical traits.

Well no, if you pay attention.

This is marketing thing so it doesn't care about the rest of the seats in the cinema, focusing only on what is needed to be shown. 

They wouldn't show a picture like this if they didn't have a peculiar reason.

Marketing and advertising is about sending a messege. And this one is a bit of a game with the audience as well. They want us to guess, they want us to wonder about... it seems that way for me. I'm not saying that it's true... but this is my point.

But your scenario is working for me as well... I would be even more satisfied if they would fill up the whole cinema wih their new unveiled characters.
