Would MS acquiring Nintendo be good or bad?

Good...powerful innovativ... 58 15.59%

Bad...Ugh this would be a mess. 273 73.39%

Yo Mama 39 10.48%

Total:370

It would be the end of Nintendo.

as long they keep nintendo making their stuff, no problem.
would be nice that nintendo red account would be paid by MS.
So wii U would be cheaper, and also, maybe more third party games would be on wii U( eg, titanfall)

Nintendo devolving to point where all their making is Mario sports titles for Kinect?.. Oh god, please no... M$ would destroy that company...

Wii-U would no longer exist if this were to happen. It wouldn't make any sense for M$ to have 2 of their own products out there competing with one another. Handhelds, on the other, would probably be fine.

It's amazing how useful just the first two responses are

Xbox One with its slick UI, my favorite controller, Xbox Live, 3rd party support and then Nintendo... The developers of the best games in this industry. Would be perfect!

- I'm probably going to go play Titanfall as soon as I'm done with this post/surfing the web and I think the UI, controller and Live are all bad, 3rd-party support isn't that great since most of the games tend to be crappy or multi-plats, and Nintendo has only ever made good games for their systems and therefore I can't see them making good games for other hardware that they themselves didn't create etc., at least not easily

sounds like a catastrophe

seriously it's so obvious how catastrophic such an event occurring would be, thankfully it's totally improbable and this is all just confirming the hypothetical apocalypse lol

okay, I might be a bit over-the-top here, but seriously I can't think of a single positive for MS taking in Nintendo

[s]it would be like a hobo trying to adopt a doctor or something, the hobo would pull the doctor down... ignore the fact that hobos wouldn't have the money, it wasn't a very well-thought-out analogy[/s]

There exists the mute button for a reason. No reason to punish the rest of us who want to talk to friends while playing online MP. There is no negatives to providing people with simple options.

Options are always good, but having voice chat in mario kart is completely unecessary. Its not a cooperative game.

Like soundwave pointed out, it would just be a place for slander.

When did games need to be cooperative for friends to talk? I often talk to my friends on party chat while playing the same game or completely different games. Even in co-op games, we'll mostly talk about random things and much less about the actual game since we already know what we need to do.

Again, mute button is quite helpful if you don't want to listen to strangers. Or if you don't want to talk to anyone at all, use parental controls to turn voice chat off period.

This.

There is no excuse for no ingame voice chat in 2014. Period.

And I can't believe some people really think Nintendos network is on par with XBL.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

it would be another RARE situation. More kinnect games

I will say no, because I don't want it and therefore don't like it.

If anything I would like to see a co-operation between Sony and Nintendo or Samsung or Nintendo. But most of all I want Nintendo to keep to themselves.

I would however want Nintendo to buy Sega.

You guys should consider going out more. I cant believe you sit there chatting with your friends when you are playing different games.  It must get incredibly awkward.
