Dude...you need to learn Metroid's story. It is possibly one of the most detailed stories in video games.

Also, if you enjoyed Prime Hunters, you would have a blast with every other entry in the series.

Prime isn't canon, so it's actually one of the less detailed stories in video games.

And even if Prime was...each series with books and comics accompanying the games has a deeper lore than Metroid. Hell, each series where the games have more than an excuse plot has a more detailed story than Metroid.

Metroid is an excellent series, but if you truly believe what you just wrote I have no option but to suspect you've only played Nintendo games in your entire life (which isn't a criticism btw, just an observation).

I also don't think it'll sit too well with the mods if you continue to insult other members.
EDIT: Told you

Okay, what determines whether or not Prime is canon?

If they downsize her bosom and get rid of the stupid high heels then I'm okay with looking at her for an entire game. Her design shows just how out of touch the Japanese are with the west.

I, too, would prefer a male Samus with biceps as thick as his head and tattoos covering half his body, but unfortunately Nintendo is too out of touch with the Western market to design such an obviously superior character.

She needs a Lara Croft-like redesign. As she is now she could be placed into Bayonetta and not look out of place.

Lara Croft has just as much illogical sexualization behind her design as Samus has, her game just has a more realistic art style. Samus is basically an anime character.

The only issue I have with your point stems from your comment about the Japanese being out of touch. It sounds an awful lot like you're saying that the problems with Samus's design are due to her designers being Japanese, and not due to her individual designers (primarily Sakamoto, I suspect) being idiots. It's not as though every female character that comes out of Japan has high heels and huge jugs.

"Metroid Prime Series (in order of in-game timeline):
The Metroid Prime series is a separate collection of games featuring Samus Aran which has a different concept and game design to Metroid games."

http://gonintendo.com/?p=134762

The Prime games have an own timeline and are listed seperately from the other games, together with stuff like Metroid Prime Pinball.

She was a bounty hunter and a soilder in the GF before even that years before that happened.

Other M's story isn't canon.

This isn't considering Other M's plot.

It's from the manuals/manga and the Prime series log entries/plot.

Wouldn't that be just like saying the Oracle series isn't canon in the Zelda Universe?

Also, is gonintendo even part of nintendo?

That does not suggest Prime is noncanon, all it says is Prime gameplay wise and story is unrelated to the other games. Prime is just kind of there between Metroid and Metroid II with it's own story.

The PR statement even suggests that with the Metroid II line, why would it say "Following her previous adventures, the Galactic Federation decides the Metroids are too dangerous to be allowed to live...", without Prime in the mix the statement doesn't make any sense since the events of Metroid is the only adventure Samus has been on before this, I doubt Nintendo would choose the wording they did if they wanted to imply Prime is noncanon.

I just want to play another Metroid Prime game, regardless of the story :-/

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

How about a spin-off?

Legend of the Chozo Aether's last defence

You would play as a lone chozo who was visiting aether at the time of the impact. You go through and fight in all those battles for each territory. You'd get a feeling of hopelessness for fighting a losing war. And you'd be the one holding up the war, since you have chozo armor.
