I want to know if the game will feature the ability to play the game online with two players using the same wii u. The wii version had this version and thanks to it, me and my girlfriend had  blast. Someone knows if MK8 will have this feature?

I was thinking the same when they were talking about it.

Don't get me wrong, this will probably be the best Mario Kart ever, but I'm disappointed with the following things:

- Unimaginative character roster: Metal Peach, Baby characters, Metal Mario, etc 

- Space Station road instead of Rainbow Road

- The battle mode. I really hope there are stages made specifically for battle mode. Or add them later as free DLC. It seems like they were copying Smash Bros.' Final Destination mode for every stage, but that doesn't work in Mario Kart. Battle mode needs to be in small confined stages, not in race tracks.

Yeah me too, except Rainbow Road. They already have one with the N64 version, so it's fine to me that they did something a lot different with the Nitro version.

I'm sure it does. But split-screen locally whereas I'd preferred off-TV play on gamepad as an option. Ah well.

Huh. I probably should have used this for MK Wii. Oh well, I was happy. I'll take advantage of this in MK8.
