These demo's flat out look better than any released game on any console. That being said when I first made the OP I was a total noob at the engine and hadn't figured out how to run everything at their best settings, the images in the OP now are MUCH better than the ones I originally had up.

Obviously I haven't seen them in action, but judging by the shots themselves I agree. They're quite stunning. Seems like an awesome engine

No kidding, I have no idea how you could look at this engine and see it as anything other than gorgeous. As good as it looks in screens in real time its seriously incredible.

Honestly I think its going to run great on PS4 and Xbox One, obviously not as high as on PC but this is just fantastic news for console gamers as well. The Unreal Engine was the go to engine for consoles last generation. Unreal 4 utterly destroys Unreal 3.

those screens are fantastic, way beyond anything we seen so far. it would be fantastic if PS4 and XB1 games could look like that in a few years.

TOP end Rig honestly, there's a few card coming that will beat mine, but my PC outperforms both Xbox One and PS4 combined by a considerable margin.

Not that, that's a massive deal though. I think the engine will still run great on the PS4 and X1 (especially PS4 obviously). These are just short tech demo's without a huge budget and they look like this. Give some talented dev's a full budget and production cycle and Unreal 4 will absolutly blow people away.

Wonderful looking screens, can't wait untill games like the new Gears of War come out on this to see how the engine scales to consoles when used by big-budget studios.

Thanks for sharing BenV, makes me wish I had brought my PC to Australia, I had some good fun playing around with UE3 UDK.

The Realistic Render looks a bit plastic to me, but other than that it's awesome.
