Forums - Gaming - Would you be interested in an entire game made in the style of the InFamous paper trail mission?

Some aspects of it need refinement and improvement, but I like that this mission takes you out of the game and onto the internet to snoop around. And I have no problem at all with very little combat. I'd quite like some classig adventuring without having to kill a bunch of people every few minutes.

Hell no.

I want a game not internet screwing around.

Nope.

I am enjoying it, but wish the investigation stuff was just in game as well, its a hassle.

No, if it would be popular they will ask you to go on sites from the game sponsers to find some clues...

agree with the people above, I wish it was ingame rather than having to go to the internet and finding out how to proceed, It breaks away from fully enjoying the game.

maybe if it was highly integrated to the ps4's browser. i didn't like having to shift hardware in the middle.

..but then why not make an "in game internet"?

In Memoriam and Majestic already did this.
Majestic played in real time and would even leave creepy voice messages on your phone.

I don't think any of them were a critical success.

I thought the papertrail was cool. I like them branching out on side ideas like this. Personally, I was addicted for several months to playing Kenway's Fleet side game for AC4 on Android cell phone. I think they are fun. That being said, some of them are terrible. The whole thing with signing onto Overwatch on a cell phone and being able to go into someone's singleplayer Need for Speed Rivals game and completely ruin their experience was an epic failure.  Many argued that there is no singleplayer game in NSFR unless you set it to offline, and Overwatch can be turned off, but still I thought the app was simply a way for a-holes to troll others that didn't know how to shut it off.
