Thank god! I really hate the thing. Its bothersome and eats up battery. Might not be the only thing eating battery though, but my dual shock 4 battery lasts 1/3 of the time my dual shock 3 does. Seizures on top of that were really annoying (when holding torches on Tomb raider if flashes between yellow and red really fast). Still have to put up with the low quality sound speaker though. -.-

I love my PS4, but i feel like all the changes to the controller were completely unecessary, besides the sound jack on the controller and the R2 and L2 buttons. But, the speaker, the touchpad and especially the light have no practical use. When games force you to use it, it even worse.



I desoldered the LED's from my controller. I want a simple off option. Its only use, if you don't use the camera, is the battery charge indicator when the system is off.
