I don't think it is that Bold and highly likely if MS does not do a cross the board pricecut.  

Stores were so overstocked with product that they slashed prices on top of the Titanfall bundle.   As their stock is reaching normal levels and the prices increase back to $499, the amount of consumers willing to pay for an XBOX1 will plummet.  No new exclusive games coming in the next 2 months and even Watch Dogs is perceived to be leaning toward the PS4.   WIth the new Mario Kart Bundle, I can see stores increasing their WiiU stock and requesting more units.

I will admit it's bold to state, but we act as if there isn't a likely resurgence from the Big N.  PS4 and Xboner are both in their infancy and will be in that tier until a certain time when they can get games out front and center.  In less than a years time, PS4 has surpass the Wii U in just under 6 months.  We've seen the original Wii hit high mark by incredible numbers during low season peaks before.  Maybe when Smash Brothers game comes up those on the ferge of buying a Wii U will finally do so.  In the public eye, its understood that the Wii U is seen as an inferior machine to the PS4 because it has nothing going on for itself.  Perhaps those who want to buy a Wii U and are defered will finally pick one up.  Halo did it for Xbox, maybe this could be it for Wii U.

I remember getting it on with halo after I got done with melee.  After everyone got on board with xbox and halo, I got on myself.  If that effect rings true for smash and wii U, same effect all over again. 

Never count out Nintendo.

Lol people are gonna be in for a huge disappointment when they see mario kart 8 not moving consoles, only a small boost. That will last for a month.

It's easy to see why it's impossible,  you have 2 huge mario games on wiiu, 2d mario sold over 22 million copies, you have bundles with mario games on the box, I don't see how mario kart 8 is gonna change the wiiu situation. It will cause a small boost but that's about it. We're talking about a console that way behind the game cube in sales.

So that automatically means X1>WiiU (shipments) in Q2? MK8=/= Mario 2D + Mario 3D btw. You say its impossible, but if X1 does manage to ship more this quarter, it wont be by much. In Fact X1 wont beat it by 200k+
