well, I would personally take FFXIII over any game on xbox ever, but that's hardly subjective speaking.
Yes, last year's titles are more FPS based, but that's what sales on xbox, NG sold horribly on xbox, Too human is unproven, GTA4 and Fallout 3 are multi so the only one that will be sure sell are GoW2 and Fable 2.
You compare that with Halo 3 and CoD4 from last year, it doesn't even come close.

all those games we all knew was coming out cept gears but we all knew that one also... so what is this thread besides microsoft beats sony fanboy thread?
and in my opinion MGS4, tekken will be better then every game on that list (YES EVEN GEARS). but i will own them all as i love all 3 systems. (ps360 more then wii)

Ninja Gaiden Sold A million on the Xbox, i dont know what you're getting at.
Too Human is a New IP, so that makes it unproven just like White Knight Story and Little Big Planet on the PS3 are. It's made by a critically acclaimed developer, silicon knights, so it should be good.
GTA4 for 360 will sell like pankakes and outsell the ps3 port by 3-1 in NA... thanks to the EXCLUSIVE content.
If you compare 08 games with Halo 3 and CoD 4..... they don't look come as close.... But heck... the PS3 had nothing in 07 and the 360 08 lineup is much better than ps3s..
While last year's lineup was great, I have to admit that the FPS-heavy nature of the offerings were getting tiresome. I still have The Darkness and haven't picked it up for months because I'm done with shooters for a bit. It's a good game but I can't bring myself to play any shooters for awhile.
I'm getting more and more excited for the diversity of this year's 360 lineup. Banjo 3, Too Human, GeoW2, Lost Odyssey, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Ninja Gaiden II, Halo Wars, etc... That's a pretty well-rounded lineup for the supposed FPS-Box.
Then you roll in the multi-plat offerings in DMC4, Civilization, Fallout 3 (please, don't suck), GTA IV, etc. and there are games for everybody on the 360 this year.
Of course, the PS3 has a pretty damned fine lineup, too.

The line up for the 360 looks pretty strong. Am I the only one who wants to throw-up when you hear about the exclusive content for the 360 on GTA4? I mean we don't even know what it is and I bet its not very much and it won't even come out until much after the release of the game.
I really don't think that this exclusive content is going to be a deal breaker for people for GTA4...
And it may outsell it in NA by some, but not 3-1 and WW it will sell better on PS3

are you high? Show me where it said FFXIII is for sure coming in 08? Developer said it's coming in 08 and that's all we have.
Ninja Gaiden SHIPPED 1 million copies, in 2 different full priced games. that's hardly a sale number an AAA game deserves.
and you are saying silicon knights is as 'proven', if not more so, than Level 5? lol
if you admit itself that 08 titles 'don't look come as close" (or whatever that means), they don't mislead people by saying 08's better than 07.

Why is everyone underestimating Alan friggin' Wake? The previews remind me of the best aspects of the best horror games I've played over the past couple of years. It's not often that I'm completely hyped for a game, but I definitely am for this one.
