Hey everyone, What can I say, I am really excited for 2008 now following the GDC announcements and watching some of the gameplay footage. 

Owning both consoles I felt that this year the PS3 would completely outshine the 360.  Although I am personally looking forward to Too Human the most out of any of this year's releases, I thought Sony definetly had the upper hand this year in terms of software.  However, following GDC, my opinion has completly changed.

Ninja Gaiden II looks absolutely amazing.  I have never seen anything like it for an action game before.  Fable II looks like it will live up to what the expectations were for Fable I and most of all Gears of War 2.  Couple all of these with a GTA4 (content) and the many great multi-plat games being released, it looks as though I will be spending a lot of time playing on my 360 (dont buy any multi-plat games of the PS3 after Madden was terrible!!!).  MS you have done an amazing job!

Top 5 Games to Buy in order:

360:

1. Too Human, Ninja Gaiden II, GOW 2, GTA 4, Fable 2, Fallout 3 

PS3:

1. MGS4, Socom, Tekken, White Knight Story, Infamous

No doubt 2008 will be a better year then 2007 and I am looking forward to playing all these great games.

The 360's lineup isn't as risickulous as it was in 2007 but still has some really high quality games coming out. Don't forget Banjo 3, Alan Wake and Left 4 Dead.

I'd argue that 2008 is much better, because it's not so freaking FPS-heavy as last year.

Culdcept Saga
Kingdom Under Fire

Pretty good exclusive, or console exclusive lineup for 08, eh?

 of course, by 'writing' GTA4 as 360 exclusive, it will surely make PS3's lineup look crappy.

 

Oh, you know what else makes PS3 line up look crappy? NOT including Killzone 2, Resistance 2, LBP, FFXIII...

I say yeah though is because the first list has more variety and I like rpgs more.  I can see buying at least 4 of the first list while I only bought 2 from the second list. Not saying list 2 sucks by any means but for me the first list is better though yes I am baised since I would take gears of war 2 over the whole second list heh.
