Not cancelled, postponed. Microsoft and Activision are working together in order to release the game on XB1, well later.

Whatever that means: technical (maybe ran at 1080p but at 20fps or with too much bugs, crashes), legal (bullshit parity clause) or any other unknown reason.

I don't know why you think it's 'accepted.' The facts about it, sure people can accept that. But Xbox One owners have been sick of it constantly being thrown in our faces for a while.
