I think they keep giving 360 "best case scenario" numbers in "others" regions, and then scaling them back as much as 200K units when they come in as bad as ever.
(Funny--it was MONTHS ago that Monty was talking about how 360 had blown by 10 million, on its way to 11 million... It might not even hit 10 million in May. Rather a pathetic performance after lots of talk of it gaining traction.)
Not as bad as how they've overshot Wii numbers, though. They've been all over the place there. But given that Nintendo claims 5.84 through the end of March, and promised increased shipments in April, 6.92 a week into May sounds feasible.
