Forums - Gaming Discussion - PS4 has a good year ahead (vs xbox one)

Why does the division favor xbox? Also it's coming out this year?

Apart from that, I agree with your overall point. Many people will prefer the XBONE game libray, but from a sales perspective the PS4 clearly has an advantage.

Destiny is the only game on that list certain to move a significant number of consoles. It's going to be massive. The Order has a chance but it's all going to depend on how good the game ends up being. Still, it's probably too "different" to be a huge IP.

Honestly, it looks fairly even this year in terms of content.

Games that always sell less then a million units aren't system sellers the only sports games that are system sellers are Madden, FIFA and the NBA 2K series and all those are multi platform.

Which means that fans of games like this won't buy a console for it?

That is not an answer to my question. Will people that like Baseball games buy a console for the Show?

No its not the NBA and College Football are more popular and College Football is only going to get more popular since divison 1 has a small playoff now.  As for the NBA not only is it more popular in the US its miles more popular all around the world.

Not even close??? and yes its the second most popular

Basketball is not even in the top 3 in terms of popularity

I say it again its not a system seller I highly doubt that anyone would buy a PS4 just for MLB the show.

The MLB fanbase is no longer split now that the MLB 2K series is no longer existent. The Show will definitely help move some sales.

All those polls are misleading just look at TV ratings and actual attandance (way more sellouts and games close to sellouts) the NBA is way ahead of MLB in both of those plus like I said before the NBA is also way more popular world wide.

Let's not forget about The Last Guardian. It might finally be released in 2014!

I'm just kidding.
