That makes literally no sense.

Interesting. Its very likly to happen, but i think the division will do better on PS4.

Well he did and it isn't a system seller and never will be.

im not sure i follow. let me try make a recap.
- the thread is about software that will help push the PS4.
-a user mentions that MLB the show will help push the PS4.
-you reply to him, start talking about basketball and baseball and then start talking about the popularity of both as other users enter the discussion.
- then you say that your not derailing the thread and accuse the user who is actually fully on topic of derailing it just because you dont agree with what he has to say?
umm... seems logical?
Not just a user the guy that started the thread claimed that MLB The Show will be a system sell which it is not and neither where any of the previous games in the series.
spemanig said: "MLB in April. Watchdogs in May. The last of us in Summer. Destiny in September. Order 1886 around Holiday 2014." Oh boy. First, none of those are "major pushes" except for The Order 1886. The Last of Us will barely push anything because most PS4 owners that would care probably owned a PS3 and already played the game there, and Watch_Dogs already pushed all the next gen systems it would have last holiday season during the launch period. MLB will push exactly nothing and Destiny will push what every multiplay pushes, which is nothing. The PS4 will obviously outsell the XBO this year, but let's not be delusional about the reasons why be pretending that the year is riddled with killer apps and hardware pushing games. |
I doubt that even The Order 1886 will be a systemseller. Won't that be the same what Ryse was for the X1? All hype and no gameplay?
As for the rest, I agree with everything you said.

That is pretty much based on nothing until now.

ok, so you are claiming the Author is derailing his own thread by saying in the OP that MLB the show will help push systems?? that is what you are saying.
again you are saying The Author is derailing his own thread by stating some points in the OP its self.

No he did not, he mention in one sentence that the "huge" MLB fanbase would pick up a PS4 for the game and you single handidly made the whole thread about this and the popularity of Baseball. You are derailing this thread and not anyone else, certainly not the OP who I highly doubt wanted to talk about Baseball or the Show exclusively in here.

Bingo, the only sports games that are system sellers are FIFA, NBA 2K and Madden. Even EA's NHL franchise is a bigger deal then MLB The Show.
