It's especially a problem for the guy who wouldn't hear about it and get his laptop exploding in his face if nobody would mention overheating battery problems. For Sony it shouldn't be a big problem with only 25k shipped units if I got that right from the article. Can't be too expensive.

I agree, I'm sure if the same battery is used in other laptops that generate higher volumes like lenovo, hp or dell then I can see the issue. 25k is really close to nothing in an industry that ships hundreds of millions. Also its not like sony and the rest of the laptop manufacturers havent gone through a battery crisis before.
