Forums - Nintendo - Why was Mario Tennis 3DS considered a disaster?

It's nothing special, but it didn't deserve all the hate. Reminds me most of the 64 version which I grew up with.

The simple shot button thing is an annoying decision purely aimed at children, takes away all the skill.

Check out my news site thekonstant.com - it's chock full of good stuff, with an unhealthy bias toward gaming :)

People complaining about shitty superficial Rpg mode loss are ridiculous.

It's because they did an amazing job on the Game Boy Color version of that. There was no reason to go backwards.

After playing the awesome Hot Shots Tennis: Get a Grip on PSP, I just couldn't get into Mario Tennis at all. Got it on the first day and wasn't impressed.
