If someone thinks Titanfall even on PC maxed looks half as good as Battlefield 4 in terms of graphics, I have to wonder if they have eyeballs.

But in terms of what makes a game fun, eh, I could see someone having 10x the fun with one or the other depending on preference. Titanfall graphics aren't so terrible as to make the game not fun, but the engine is 10 years old and it shows. The textures are often things that would look at home on the OG Xbox depending on where you look.

I agree.

While Battlefield 4 is a bug fest in all versions... it looks a generation ahead Titanfall.

This is great news. X360 owners get the complete package, minus the superior textures and resolution of the XOne version. The option to lock framerate is the icing on the cake.

Seems Respawn spent time making sure their game shipped playable and DICE spent time working on an engine and DLC. As a gamer give me the game that is actually playable.

BF4 had been playable since December. Ive never ran into issues with BF4.

Ok. Basically the Xbone version is a little more polished 360 game for $500 more. Got it.

Pretty much. It's not the XB1's fault, nor does that make TF a bad game.

It does show that the engine is absolutely stone-age in 2014 though. The XB1 needs modern titles to show it off technically. Obviously the XB1 is a bit weaker than PS4, but not generationally behind. By and large games should at least look fairly similar between them.

I guarantee that if Titanfall had released on PS4, it would look just as bad as the XB1 version, but in 1080P (maaaaaybe 900P, but that's being generous).

Effects, particles and light/shadows are also capped on the 360.

In short:

BF4 (PC) > TitanFall(PC) > TitanFall (PS4) > TitanFall (X1) > TitanFall(360) > TitanFall (Wii) > COD Ghosts (Gcube) > Duck Hunt (snes) > Shenmue 2 (2600)

lol yes. BF4 PC is freaking gorgeous, but I can understand if someone doesn't like it gameplay wise. Technically I've had no trouble with it after installing 8.1, but I've heard horror stories about the console versions (all of them) over the months, and especially the first couple of months.

I'm just saying that if PS4 had gotten a TF release, it would have been basically identical to the XB1 version, albeit with higher res, maybe some additional AA/AF. Old engine is old, and bad textures are bad, but good game is good even with that baggage. At the same time, the 360 variant would probably run better than the PS3 one given the last-gen hardware differences.

LOL by the way what is this "single digit frames per second bug" BS? The game doesn't drop to single digits.
