OT: So, VGC has D/P heavily overtracked? I was certain D/P sold 18+ Million. 

Anyhow, 15 Million is possible this year. Almost definitely.

15mil is a good goal, not definite. It will have shipped+digital no less than 14mil by years end. If say it were to sell 15mil, then we can expect 18mil lifetime. Lookin at 3DS userbase, the sales already are great!

If X/Y doesn't sell at least/around 4 Million this year then it won't be good. Diamond and Pearl sold ~3 Million in it's third year, if X/Y can't do more than that in it's second year, then it won't look pretty.

Your expectations are pretty bad. XY sold very well first year, and your not taking into consideration the whole picture. Your talking about a game that rode on the huge success of DS. 

XY has done 11.61mil year 1, if it does over 2mil in its 2nd year (13.61mil) its great. Also DP had no mainstream pokemon for over 2 years. Thts also wat helped out

on a technical level, it is by far the best. Love the online, the new pokémons are pretty nice and I loved the addition of Fairy and super training.

As for the story, it is one of the worst game in the franchise, if not THE worst imo. I just hated the rival and her friends, they were so dull and felt like a bunch of losers that I wished I could just abandon and never see them again. I prefer rivals that trash talk me and that actualy feel like pros, in X/Y I had no respect whatsoever for my rival, I just could'nt take her seriously and when she said stuffs like ''you are so good, I'm so happy to be your rival'' I wanted to yell at her to leave me alone freaking loser lol.
As for the villains, they were also super lame and dull. Rule the world with fashion? Really?! Their plan was barely explained and barely made any sense.
Finaly the game was way to easy, but maybe that's just me becoming better.

I just hope the next game is just as good, but with a real story and characters that I can actualy take seriously.

3DS won't have a core Pokemon game for at least this year. It has a free ride all year with a global release coming out of 2013. And late 2013, at that. A 55/60% drop for Pokemon X/Y would be terrible. 

You can stop Mario, Zelda and Donkey Kong but you can't stop Pokemon.

No, its not terrible at all. 95% of all games have over a 90%  drop year to year. Stop downplaying something thats doing well. Like i said before Your not looking at the entire picture. D/P has a 150mil+ userbase, 3DS barely has a fourth of that. XY 12mil of about 43mil userbase.

When comparing things, yu cant think ever formula is the same. BW for example had the best 1st year of any pokemon, but its 2nd year sales are 1.28mil
