According to US law, anyone that gets fired is legally required to tweet about it in less than 48 hours or face the consequences (1 year of jail or 500 hours of community service). So probably it was just 2 people (can increase since the 48 hours are still running).

Given Phil Spencer overlooking all of Xbox and being seriously committed to going back to serving the core gamer, it is very likely excess kinect related/TV staff are getting the boot.
