Sony announces PS5 during NYC event, launching holiday 2020

Today at a gaming event in New York City, Sony announced the PlayStation 5. Sony’s Andy House says that it is the ‘most powerful platform ever’.

A release window of ‘Holiday 2020 was announced at this event

 “The living room is no longer the center of the PlayStation universe, the gamer is,” says House. “Every facet of PlayStation will continue to become more powerful…and remains at the heart of everything we create.”

After dominating 8th gen video game industry sony is ready to dominate console markets again. Till now sony’s ps4 system has sold 85 million units globally. While their only competitor microsofts xbox one managed to sell over 67 million units. Nintendo, once a rival in home console market hasn’t announced about their potential “comeback” in the home console market after long discontinued wii u system.

Here is the ps4 specifications.

The Sony PS4 has an dual-chip sixteen-core Intel custom low power x86-64 CPU with a Radeon based graphics engine (around 16 teraflop), 64GB of DDR4 RAM and a Blu-ray optical disc drive. 

 

 

PS: This is obvious an April fool title. Its a poor one but this is what came in my mind. If its offensive then mods can lock this thread.

You should correct the bottom part.  You say PS4 specs: and then you make the same mistake just below.  Unless that was your intention.
