Well at the bottom of the screen towards the end at least I noticed it says

Nintendo/pokemon/gamefreak/2014. or something to that extent. So regardless Nintendo got some form of money out of this or was part of it in some way.

I got to the 60's before I stopped.

You have to hit the "search" option in maps first, then activate the pokemon search.

Did you watch the intro video? funny stuff.
