We've already defined scenarios where saying someone is an idiot is allowable.

What if the poster is female or gay? Can't I call them what they are then?

Honestly, anytime the word is being used to be insulting, then it should be treated as an insult and handled appropriately based on our rules.

Serious answer: If "woman" is used in a tongue-in-cheek, not-really-insulting fashion, it's not a big deal. It can be interpreted as a joke about how women are oft looked down upon for no concrete reason.

Meanwhile, user Turkish, a regular in the forums, has this signature:

I got banned for this seemingly normal post, only that the word "zealot" was worth the ban. This isn't the first time I came across users with religious references and I do not like censoring myself when it is being done by others, namely the very fans I am referring to.

I do not think assusing someone of having unwavering devotion and loyalty to their console/corproation is any different then a soccer fan of their favourite team at the world cup. People worship things in their own way. This is not immediately negative to call someone out on their loyalties and them placing a product/corporation on a pedestal above what they really are.

Sales, I'm going to take a guess here but I don't think it was the religious connotations of your post by itself but the included "peksy" modifier that generated user ire that led to the ban.
