The title says "Monster PC". All I'm seeing is

Last last gen CPU with last last last last gen power
GPU
that is a few steps under high end
painfully overpriced RAM
midrange cooler
ridiculously over sized low quality PSU
mainstream SSD

It's a good, functional and almost cost effective build but it is so far from a "Monster PC" that it made me write this post. Please don't tell me someone actually recommended this build to you.

What...?

You silly person, looks like someone doesn't know the lastest amd cards

For the GPU I count at least 2 steps below high end, completely ignoring crossfire builds.

The CPU can't even handle Intel CPUs from 4 generations ago.

I stand correct.

CPU I agree some what with since it can't even compete with the sandy bridge high end i5s (I believe) but GPU isn't last last last last gen power unless that is worded weirdly (or I read it wrong) to which then I agree with... I think what he might be going for is that AMD's Mantle tech where the CPU bottleneck doesn't really matter if you have a high end GPU but I do agree with spending this much and not getting an intel CPU

The FX-6300 is as stronger as the weaker i5's, and the FX-8350 is inbetween an i5 and an i7.  You are very mistaken.  Also that GPU is equal to a Titan, so yeah it isn't exactly weak people...

I wouldn't go that far

Also I have no issues with the GPU

All I can say is litterally everything you said is incorrect.

Moderators?

Please read some benchmarks.

290 is easily beaten by 290X, 780i and any crossfire/SLI build. That's not high end and definitely not "monster".

AMD CPUs can't hold a candle against Intel CPUs when gaming is concerned. That is the case at least since Sandy Bridge. For reference

http://www.tomshardware.com/charts/cpu-charts-2013/-20-Crysis-II,3175.html

Notice how the highest end AMD CPU is smoked by multiple INTEL CPUS from 4 generations ago.

Tell me I'm wrong

It's not worded weirdly. It's a list and there is a clear line break. Last gen obviously referring to the CPU and not GPU.

Did you even look at the multi-threaded benchmarks?  LOL the CPU's are right where I said they would be.  In fact the FX-8350 even beat the i7 in one of the benchmarks.

P.S.  Are you saying intel is stronger at single-threaded?  DUH!  Of course they are, but AMD's cores are way cheaper to produce.

Prediction for console Lifetime sales:

Wii:100-120 million, PS3:80-110 million, 360:70-100 million

[Prediction Made 11/5/2009]

3DS: 65m, PSV: 22m, Wii U: 18-22m, PS4: 80-120m, X1: 35-55m

I gauruntee the PS5 comes out after only 5-6 years after the launch of the PS4.

Nice but I beg of you to switch the OEM cooler for something beefier, I would suggest an Antec Kuhler 620, or a Corsair H80 / H100i, failing that if closed loop water cooling isnt your bag, Noctua do some amazing coolers, the NH-D14 is extremely good.

Good for you OP I'm glad you have a good Comp to game with, it is very good for the Price you paid.

Off Topic: You guys are really trying to argue which is better (Intel or AMD), seriously wtf he's already apart of our PC master race who cares if doesn't have an Intel Build hes playing all his games on max settings, so are we really goin to fault him for not having the same parts as your personal build, seriously get over yourselves and be happy for the man that now can truly enjoy High end gaming.

Yea but have u taken a look at the gaming benchmarks? Intel beats amd in all cases and not to mention that there are far more single threaded applications then multi-threaded ones
