1) It was me, and I resigned it

2) It was lifted by someone else

3) I hand out warnings for people who tread the line. "Sucks for PSP" isn't treading the line, it's a blatant attempt to antagonize people. There is no constructive reason to use that phrasing, it should clearly and obviously be inappropriate.

Very much like if someone came in and said "You're all stupid and ugly and I screwed your moms," I would ban instantly without a warning. Anything that should be obviously over the line will not get a warning from me.

Bod was the one who banned him. He forgot, probably =/

I think ioi should make it mandatory to add your name to people's bans.

some mods dont want to sign their name due to them not wanting to hear a massive amount of complaining from members if they ban someone popular.

Frozen is not popular.

^ that doesn't matter..

imo it is polite too honestly say hey you you broke the rules I punished you if you have questions when you are unbanned you can talk too me

I know that doesn't matter. I'm just simply saying the "we won't sign our name because this person is too popularand we'll hear much complaining etc. etc." is wrong in this case.

I think Bod should have given him a warning since he's never been banned (or warned) before.

anyway i do think putting your name there keeps this kind of topics away

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

very clear imo i do think it was a violation, but you made "vormfout"( mistake ) by not putting your name behind the action

I actually took the time to unban, then reban with my name on it -- then the ban was lifted by another mod, and I won't contest his decision. It was a 1 day ban, for the record.

Regardless, sounds like people have learned the lesson. At least from me. obviously inappropriate stuff is insta-ban because people should know it's obviously inappropriate. Thread locked, let the healing begin.
