Just speculation, but I agree with people who think they're switching to pattern of doing a Direct every two months instead of every month. That way they have more they can show. So that would mean one in April, and then E3. I don't know if I'd expect much from the next Direct tho...other than trailers and feature reveals for Mario Golf and Mario Kart 8, and a final Kirby trailer probably. They'll probably waste half the Direct talking about the GBA games coming to VC, NES Remix 2, and maybe have a "surprise" like Wii Sports Club Baseball or Boxing being ready. I'm really hoping they'll just save anything "major" for the E3 Direct or E3 presentation. They need to have a bigger presence this year, and I also just don't think they have anything else coming out before E3...so if it's all coming out after E3, they might as well save it FOR E3.

Upcoming Games To Get

Definite: Kirby Star Allies (Switch), Mario Tennis Aces (Switch), Fire Emblem (Switch), Yoshi (Switch), Pokemon (Switch), Kingdom Hearts 3 (PS4), Monster Hunter World (PS4)

Considering: Fe (Switch), Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze (Switch), The World Ends With You (Switch), Ys VIII (Switch), Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition (PS4), Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Remix (PS4), The Last Guardian (PS4), Shadow of the Colossus HD (PS4), Anthem (PS4), Shenmue 3 (PS4), WiLD (PS4)

Around the Network

My guess would be the week after that.

well the last one was on the 13th Feb and the one before that the 18th Dec, roughly 8 weeks apart. next thursday is week 7 since the last. I reckon it could definitely be rather soon.

Kirby is out in America at the start of May, I don't think we'll have to wait that long

Second week of april is my guess, you said it those are made around 8 weeks apart and Kirby is coming on the first week of may, so they will wait till they are closer to the release date to push the game with a Direct.

Surely Mario Kart 8 would be the focus of the direct! Afterall, it'll probably be the single biggest game the Wii U ever gets, so they need to hype it up like it's the second coming of Jesus! Plus you know, we still know barely anything about the game's features and modes. :L
They'll also probably have another new character reveal for SSB4 aswell, perhaps Paluteana to go along with the NES remix, and if they don't do a Direct in May, they'd have to talk about their E3 plans too.

this has been what i have been thinking i think why they didn't have a conference last year was that they revaled pretty much everything in first 6 months of 2013

I think a may one is more likely before the launch of Mario Kart.

They dont have anything to talk about now. GBA games dont fill up a Nintendo direct. Unless they have new announcements.

No.
If so, they would wait for thursday to launch the sonic zelda DLC.
Imagine after the trailer, Iwata say that is avaiable now.
hahah

Everything except SM3DW, MK8, DKCTF, and SSB4 announcements, aswell as new trailers for X, Bayo 2, Pikmin 3, etc., new details on X/Y, Dream Team, ALBW, etc., more release dates all around, and probably some other stuff I forgot, so yeah, they hardly revealed everything. :L

Well, in his defense, they told us that the new 3D Mario, Mario Kart, and Smash Bros. would be at E3 in the January Direct...the same one where they showed the first stuff for Bayonetta 2 and revealed "X," SMT X FE, and Yarn Yoshi. X/Y were revealed in January, Dream Team and ALBW and the other 3DS games were revealed prior to E3. Yes, they showed new trailers or gameplay demos and other details about games at E3 and after E3...but we're talking about brand new game reveals. At E3 they need to reveal games...like what's coming to 3DS in the 2nd half of the year other than Smash Bros. For Wii U they will probably stick with reveals and updates on previously announced games like Smash Bros., "X," Bayonetta 2, SMT X FE, Yarn Yoshi, and Zelda...but they still need to reveal some actual previously UNannounced games...at least a couple for Wii U and a bunch for 3DS.

I don't see any reason to have a direct before E3.
