You be looking in the wrong place dude. Loads of places have TF bundle for $698, which makes it on par with the inFamous bundle. It isn't an accross the board price drop because some bundles are still over $800, but EB games, Noel Leeming, The Warehouse all have $698 bundles.

Anyway, price parity with PS4 isn't going to help much globally. But it will help in the markets where 360 sold better than PS3: UK, USA, Canada.

I saw the Ps4 on mighty ape for $600, are they the only place doing it for that price?

But Xbox One has a free game included PS4 doesn't. Hence net price for the console alone is cheaper.

Xbox One has a free game and costs $450, PS4 is $399...which is cheaper? Hint: The one that costs less.

I'm just poking fun at the OPer for conflicting the title and OP. Title says cheaper but the OP says more value...which is it?

Technical inferiority. There are spec whores out there and the choice this generation is very easy for them: PS4

Tech whores are an even smaller minority than PC gamers. They might dominate the very early sales but after that they're irrelevant.

I should clarify. Tech whores includes people who buy the console with the best performing multiplats. So that's less of a minority than straight out "buy the thing with the biggest numbers" people.

People should also not lose sight of the fact that PS3 ended up outselling Xbox 360 and taking a year less to do it. And price and technical performance for multiplats was in Xbox 360's favour. So quite why people think mere price parity between Xb one and PS4 can make a meaningful difference globally is hard to fathom. USA yes, everywhere else not so much.

PS4 has the advantage of being a whole ecosystem.
PS3, PS4 and Vita are all interconnected through PSN. Its much more value for money than XBL

So 360 and One aren't interconnected?

Besides the PS4 seems to be barely connected to PS3 and Vita. It doesn't share the same store and party chat is only available between PS4 and Vita. PS3 and PS4 connectivity is almost non-existent at the moment.

Unless im mistaken, you cannot voice chat between 360 and One.

Should also mention im looking at this from the point of view of someone who owns neither console, but who will purchase one of them within the next year.

When comparing the two consoles, PSN looks far better to me. The games are actually worth playing, especially when comparing to "games with gold" which has what? Dungeon defenders? A 4 year old game, which nobody really plays any more.

From my perspective, i want to get the most gaming i can out of a console to get value, and PS4 looks to be beating XBONE by a fair amount in that department

Well yes but the ecosystem is nice regarding game upgrading from PS3 to PS4.

That's the reason I am going to buy a Playstation 4... Playstation plus gives so much content for 4 euros a month. It's insane! And I want to play Final Fantasy Realm Reborn!
