Gears sold when it was owned and developed by Epic games. Now it has a new owner AND a new developer. Too early to call whether it will be on the same level of success of last gen.

Plus, God of War has outsold Gears of War series so SSM DOES count as a big studio for Sony. inb4 HD remakes?


Not trying to get into your guys argument but Forza 5 has about a 25% tie ratio.  Is it expected to sell 5m on a console that has 4m sold?

Also the Gears trilogy sold 6m each.  God of War Trilogy sold 4m each.  The only Gears game to sell less was Judgement and that was for a good reason.

I said God of War series. That includes PSP games/remakes.

Also Forza was pretty much given away...Most of those sales come from bundles, similar to the previous entries in the series.

Why would you compare 6-10 games to 3?  That is like saying Mario outsells pokemon when mario has 100's of games and pokemon gets 1 to 2 a generation.

I'm just trying to say that SSM is a big studio for Sony and that it's god of War series sells a ton, meanwhile this sales guy thinks otherwise because the last game in the franchise didn't sell as well as the trilogy. He was wrong about the LBPK dev but im pretty sure you corrected him on that.  Should i correct something else he said?  The rest of what you all said was opinionated and as i said, im not getting into all that.
