Was it really? Wow, that's a cheap console! I had no memory of this, honestly. What were the price of Xbox and PS2 at the time GC hit $100, do you know? :o
I always thought that PS2 was the cheaper console for most of that generation. :/

PS2 and Xbox were $179 when Gamecube hit $99 and they both went down to $149 a few months later.
